Mesh Size: It's measured by how many threads of mesh cross per square inch. For example, a 110 mesh has 110 threads crossing per square inch.

Material: Most screens are made from monofilament polyester, which is durable and can be reused by cleaning and re-stretching.

Mesh Count and Ink Compatibility:

Low Mesh Counts (38 - 86): Suitable for glitter or shimmer inks with large particles.

Most Versatile Mesh Counts (110 and 156): Ideal for a balance between ink coverage and detail. A 110 mesh lays a thicker layer of ink, while 156 mesh offers higher detail.

High Mesh Counts: Used for fine detail or thinner inks like water-based inks.

Choosing the right mesh count depends on the level of detail in your design and the viscosity of the ink you're using. For absorbent materials like canvas, a lower mesh count like 90 might be used, while non-absorbent materials like plastic may require a higher mesh count like 2002.
